ProudToBe — FAQ

Short, direct answers about pages, points, votes and referrals. For the full rules, see the Terms of Service and the Community Rules.

What is ProudToBe?

One link for everything you make. Your page at proudtobe.online/yourname shows who you are, your accounts on every platform and your newest videos and posts. You put the address in your bio. Every page also has a place in a ranking: the world, your country and your category.

Is it free?

Yes. The page, the statistics, the QR code and the share cards are free.

Where do points come from?

There are four sources, and no other scoring:

Votes — every valid vote for your page: +1.
Daily points — up to 8 a day that you earn for your own page by taking part.
Link in bio — a day on which new visitors open your page from outside ProudToBe: +1, at most one a day.
Referrals — every verified referral: +30.

On your own page you can see how your total is made up.

How do I earn the 8 daily points?

Sign in with a confirmed e-mail address and publish your page. Then, each day: +1 for coming to ProudToBe, +1 for giving your free vote to someone else, and +1 for each of six different pages of other people where you open a video or a link. They reset at midnight, your time, and do not carry over.

How many free votes do I get?

One free vote every calendar day, counted in the time zone of your device. It does not carry over: an unused free vote is simply gone at midnight.

Do I need an account to vote?

No. Anyone can give one free vote a day without an account. To keep a page of your own you need to confirm an e-mail address or continue with Google.

Can I use my free vote on my own page?

No. A free vote always goes to someone else — it can never be used on your own page.

Can I take a vote back, or move it to another page?

No. Once a vote has been given, it stays with the page that received it. Votes are permanent — decide before you click.

How does the link in my bio earn points?

Put your address in your Instagram, TikTok or YouTube bio, or on your own website. On every day that new visitors open your page from outside ProudToBe, your page gets +1 point — one a day, however many visitors came. Your own visits, bots and scripts earn nothing.

How do referrals work?

Your page address, QR code and share cards carry your invite. When someone arrives through them, confirms an e-mail address and, in their first seven days, pastes a link on their own page or gives at least three votes to other people, the referral is verified and adds 30 points to your page. A signup alone earns nothing.

When does my place change?

Points update at once. Places are set once a day, at 00:00 New York time, from the points at that moment.

Why did my page leave the ranking?

A page whose owner has not signed in for 72 hours leaves the ranking and the homepage. Sign in, and it comes back the next time places are set. Your page keeps working at its address the whole time, and you lose no points.

I made a page without an e-mail address. How long does it stay?

24 hours. Confirm an e-mail address or continue with Google within that time and the page is yours to keep.

Can my page be just a shop?

Yes. Paste a link to your shop or to a product and your page shows it with its picture, name and price. A page with only a shop takes part in the ranking like any other.

Why do some numbers look like 12.4K?

On public pages numbers from 10,000 up are shortened. Places are decided by the exact numbers, and you see the exact numbers on your dashboard.
